3rd WCSET-2014 at Nepal

The 3rd World Conference on Applied Sciences, Engineering
and Technology (WCSET 2014) was organized by the Basha Research Corporation
at Hotel Manang, Kathmandu, Nepal during 27-29 September 2014. The
conference received 258 papers out of which 158 were
accepted for the oral presentations divided into four
parallel sessions. However, only 156 papers were
considered for publication in the conference proceedings
with ISBN 13: 978-81-930222-0-7. There were total 148
participants, representing 17 countries that contributed
to the success of the conference.
Mr. R. Hafeez Basha,
Vice President - Technology, BRCORP was the Conference
Chairman, along with Mr.
Raju Aedla, Secretary General, Cafet-Innova
Technical Society, India as Co-Chair.
Mr. Pragyan Bhattarai,
Managing Director, Planning and Review Engineering
Consultancy Services, Nepal was the Organizing Secretary.
Shri. Minendra Rizal,
Honorable Minister for Information and Communication,
Government of Nepal was the Chief Guest.
Prof. Jammi Srinivasa Rao, Professor Retd.,
IIT-Delhi and President & CEO, BRCORP and
Prof. D. Venkat Reddy,
Professor, National Institute of Technology,
NIT-Karnataka and President, Cafet-Innova Technical
Society were the Guests-of-Honour.

were the keynote speakers during the parallel sessions.
Field trip to Kathmandu City was arranged on the last day
of the conference to visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites
including Pashupatinath Temple,
BoudhaNath, Swayambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar square,
Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Changu
Narayan. Also,
private trips for river rafting and Pokhra were also arranged.
