Prof Dharmapuram Venkat Reddy

Dr. Dharmapuram Venkat Reddy is Advisor for the Tunnel Institute Program at Larsen & Toubro (L&T) Chennai. He retired as Professor and Head of the Department for Civil Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT-Karnataka), Ministry of Human Resource Development Institute, Government of India. He earlier worked at Kothagudem School of Mines and Osmania University, Hyderabad.

He is also the President of Cafet-Innova Technical Society, Hyderabad and Editor-in-Chief for International Journal of Earth Sciences and Engineering.

Early Life and Education:


Dr. Venkat Reddy was born on 5th April 1952 at Mahaboob Nagar District of Andhra Pradesh. He did his Bachelor of Science in Geology, Master of Science in Engineering Geology, Master of Science (Tech) in Hydrogeology and Ph. D in Engineering Geology from Osmania University.
