2nd WCSET-2013 at India

The 2nd World Conference on Applied Sciences, Engineering and Technology (WCSET 2013) was organized by the Basha Research Corporation at GITAM University, Hyderabad Campus during 08-09 March 2013. The conference received 304 papers out of which 251 were accepted for the oral presentations divided into five parallel sessions. There were total 223 participants that contributed to the success of the conference.

Prof. Ch. Sanjay, Campus Director, GITAM University, Hyderabad Campus was the Conference Chairman, along with Prof. D. Venkat Reddy, President, Cafet-Innova Technical Society and Professor, National Institute of Technology (NIT-Karnataka) as Co-Chair. Mr. Hafeez Basha, Vice President - Technology, BRCORP was the Organizing Secretary.

Shri. Dinesh Kumar Paliwal, Member Secretary, National Board of Accreditation (NBA), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India was the Chief Guest. Shri. Narendra Kumar Nanda, Director Technical, National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC), Government of India and Prof. K. Laxminarayana, Chief Operating Officer, BRCORP and Project Director Retd., Defence Electronics and Research Laboratory (DLRL), Ministry of Defence were the Guests-of-Honour for inaugural function. Prof. D. Harinarayana, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, GITAM University presided the conference whereas Prof. Shuichi TORII, Assistant Director, Centre for Globalization, Kumamoto University Japan; and Prof. Katta Venkataramana, Professor, National Institute of Technology (NIT-Karnataka) were the Guests-of-Honour for Valedictory Function.

Mr. S. S. Subramanya Sastry, Additional General Manager, InfoTech Enterprises Ltd. Bangalore; Dr. A. C. Sahayam, Scientific Officer (G),. National Centre for Compositional Characterization of Materials (NCCCM); Mr. Srihari Tirumalasetty, Deputy General Manager, Ramky Group; Mrs. Arni Swarna Bai, Scientist-E, Research Centre Imarat (RCI-DRDO); Dr. M. B. R. Murthy, Professor, CMR College of Engineering and Technology; Dr. T. V. Rajanikanth, Professor, Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology; Mr. T. K. Ganguli, Senior General Manager - Engineering, Vijai Electrical; and Mr. Shujayat Khan, Director, CVTD were the keynote speakers during the parallel sessions.
