Abstract: In order to
improve decision-making process, Decision Support
Systems (DSS) provide a structure for integrating
database management systems, analytical models, and
graphics. The decision support system notion was
extended to the spatial perspective by integrating GIS
and DSS into Spatial Decision Support Systems (SDSS).
Developing user-friendly interfaces in conjoining with
analytical models into GIS to reach at SDSS’s is one of
the vigorous areas in agricultural management in
countries like India. In this paper, the scope of
integrated farming systems with organic agriculture and
geomatics techniques in india are presented to take
better decision-making on watershed management, farm
management and policy result analysis.
