Abstract:
Nanocrystalline of Mn(Al1–xCox)2O4, where x = 0, 0.1,
0.2, 0.3,0.5 were synthesized by EDTA-NH3 sol-gel
method. The spinel cubic phase formation of samples was
confirmed by X-ray diffraction (XRD). All Bragg lines
observed in XRD patterns are belong to cubic spinel
structure. Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM)
technique was used to study the surface morphology of
the samples. To the best of our knowledge, nobody has
achieved the single phase and studied for magnetic
properties of nanocrystalline Co-doped MnAl2O4. Here,
the magnetic property of the Mn(Al1–xCox)2O4,
nanoparticles was studied through ZFC and FC curves
using MPMS SQUID Magnetometer. The results show that
Co-doped MnAl2O4 can be obtained at low calcination
temperature 600oC with permeability increasing
proportional as calcination time.
