Title:            X.509 Attribute Certificate Implementation for Cloud Environments

Abstract:      Cloud computing has emerged as a popular model in computing world in which resources of the computing infrastructure are provided as services over the Internet. The emergence of this novel technology in IT business has decoyed most of organizations in both private and public sector. Data security and access control is one of the most challenging on-going research work in cloud computing. This paper details about an access control mechanism that uses digitally-signed certificates called Attribute Certificates in X.509 Framework, the Privilege Management Infrastructure, a new technology which provide strong authorization. This paper describes the model, architecture and implementation of X.509 Attribute Certificate in Cloud Computing based environments for a secure data access.
