Abstract: The biggest threat looming around humanity is unprecedented climate changes causing global warming and many other natural hazards. Many researchers have found that usages of fossil fuels have led to greenhouse gases emission which is a potential cause for these mishaps. This has forced policy makers around the globe to develop and promote the alternatives or non-fossil sources of energy. This paper discusses the different measures to check the increasing energy demand and meeting it differently for sustainable development of humanity.
