Title:         Preparation, characterization and photocatalytic activity under visible light of magnetic N-dopped TiO2

Abstract:  
An efficient and easily recoverable magnetic N-dopped photocatalyst was synthesized and used in decomposition of a recalcitrant organic compound in the visible-light condition. Photo-degradation of p-nitrophenol over different samples was tested in order to investigate the structure-property relationship between the doping nitrogen content and activity of the photo-catalysts. Various techniques including FT-IR, TEM, XRD were used for the catalyst characterization. About 80% of the p-nitrophenol was photo-degradated under visible-light using the magnetic N-dopped photocatalyst in the tested experimental conditions.
